American Baptist Home Mission Societies is seeking an Investment Accountant to join our team in King of Prussia, PA. If you are a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting, we want to hear from you!

Job Responsibilities:

1. Process unit purchases, sales and endowment fund participant activity; calculate monthly net asset values (NAV); accrue and distribute investment income and expenses; verify and prepare quarterly manager fee invoices for payment 
2. Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts.
3. Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
4. Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
5. Assist with month-end close processes.
6. Perform account reconciliations.
7. Utilize accounting software to manage financial data.
8. Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business-related discipline. A minimum of three years’ experience in accounting with preference in investment accounting or mutual fund accounting experience. Must be proficient in Excel and computerized investment/accounting systems. Excellent planning, organizational and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work in a highly detailed environment required. Experience working in a multicultural team environment.

Salary: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
