Senior Tax Accountant

This is an exciting full time opportunity that is responsible for the start to finish tax process for the different True companies and individuals to comply with the requirements of the various taxing authorities. You will be actively participating in team discussions where your professional skills and knowledge are valued. We are looking for a key team member to help lead and/or support our staff. The best part is it is like being a part of a mini accounting firm in a corporate setting, yet without the headaches of logging hours and billing customers! You will be assisting with the timely and accurate filing of federal and state tax returns. This position deals with complex tax issues for a family business that operates across a diverse range of industries, including oil and gas, ranching, trucking and banking; and handles sensitive data while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information at all times. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.

Minimum requirements include:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting.
• 8+ years of tax accounting experience.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or be a CPA Candidate.
• English language fluency, verbal and written.
• Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check, credit check and drug/alcohol test.

Preferred Requirements include:

• Experience preparing complex tax returns.
• Strong knowledge of tax compliance concepts as well as tax and accounting principles and procedures.

Compensation:

• Starting at $100,000 annually based on experience
• Discretionary year-end bonus
• Long term incentive
