Accounting Manager

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee and manage the financial operations of our manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of manufacturing cost accounting. This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the companys financial strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal policies.
• Document financial transactions of various types by entering account information data
• Manage cost accounting processes, including inventory valuation, cost analysis, and variance reporting.Lead month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Prepare payments by requesting disbursements and verifying documentation
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants for audits and tax filings.
• Support financial planning, forecasting, and decision-making processes.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and financial goals.
• Maintain customer confidence
• Ensure that legal financial requirements are adhered to and advice management on relevant actions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting,
• Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
