Staff Accountant | Direct Hire
Location: Dublin, OH | Full-Time | Onsite
$55,000 - $65,000/year

A fast-paced and growing organization is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. This individual will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and has a strong understanding of general ledger accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update accounting records and financial files with accuracy and timeliness.

  • Perform general ledger account reconciliations, post transactions, and categorize financial records appropriately.

  • Analyze financial transactions in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, supporting audit preparation and ensuring compliance.

  • Support general bookkeeping tasks, including the organization of financial documents, receipts, and forms, while ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards.

  • Enter and review accounting data in the ERP system, inspecting account information for accuracy and completeness.

  • Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial reports and statements, while upholding established financial procedures and internal controls.

  • Ensure alignment with business processes and technology platforms in daily accounting tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in accounting or general ledger-related work.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

  • Strong knowledge of month-end close procedures, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting.

  • Experience in financial analysis, including reviewing and reporting on P&L variances.

  • High level of discretion when handling sensitive or confidential financial information.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Experience with ERP systemsNetSuite and Blackline preferred.

  • Strong understanding of accounting and finance principles, practices, and procedures.

  • Skilled in troubleshooting issues related to accounting software.
