First Harrison Bank was established in 1891 as Savings and Loan Association of Corydon. In 1966, our name changed to First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Corydon. Later, the name changed to First Federal Savings Bank. In 2000, First Federal Savings Bank united with Harrison County Bank to become First Harrison Bank. In 2003, our family grew larger with the addition of Hometown National Bank in Floyd County, Indiana. In 2015, The Peoples Bank of Bullitt County joined our family, as well. Today, we have eighteen branch locations in Southern Indiana and Bullitt County, Kentucky.

As a community bank, decisions are made locally and customers receive friendly, personalized service. We strongly believe in giving back to the community where we live and work, and we are generous in providing our time and financial support to many charitable organizations. We know if our local communities thrive, we will too. In addition to our local schools, some of the organizations we support include Relay for Life, American Heart Association, The Salvation Army, Toys for Tots, Metro United Way, Blessings in a Backpack, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and more!
