Corporate Controller Location: Columbus, OH Compensation: $120,000-150,000 + Bonus Job Type: Full Time Benefits: Retirement, Healthcare, Paid Holiday, PTO, etc. Why You Should Apply: Hands on process and system improvement and implementation work Growing Company No crazy overtime What We're Looking For: The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or similar MUST have some management experience CPA or in process to complete CPA preferred They are looking for someone 8+ years of Accounting experience This person should a take charge/go-getter attitude. Effective communicator. Spanish language skills considered a plus. What You'll Be Doing: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely internal and external financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual) Technical expertise relating to US GAAP, covering accounting for balance sheet and P&L areas. Areas of importance (not all inclusive) include revenue recognition, leases, debt, consolidation, foreign currency, etc. Leadership and coordination around the external audit, quarterly review, and ad hoc processes, liaising with auditors to ensure a smooth and efficient audit. Review and ensure proper documentation of all accounting transactions, ensuring adherence to corporate policies. Establish accounting policies and procedures to ensure the efficient and accurate operation of the accounting department, and to maintain compliance with financial controls and audit processes. Monitor and manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure deadlines are met. Lead cross-functional and internal Finance oriented projects to meet objectives and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization. Work closely with the finance team to prepare accurate financial forecasts, budgets, and projections.
