A Day In The Life
As a Senior Financial Analyst at The Friedkin Group, you will play a key role in delivering high-impact financial insights, supporting strategic initiatives, and driving enterprise-wide performance through proactive planning, forecasting, and analysis. This role partners cross-functionally to support shared services and enterprise business units, translating complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership.

As a Sr Financial Analyst you will:

  • Support the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range plans for enterprise business units.
  • Lead and support the annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range plans for shared services.
  • Deliver monthly financial reporting and variance analysis with clear insights on drivers, risks, and opportunities for senior leadership.
  • Leverage curiosity to analyze processes, uncover inefficiencies, and drive scalable improvements in forecasting, reporting, and planning.
  • Partner with business leaders to provide proactive decision support, modeling, and scenario planning to guide strategic and operational outcomes.
  • Develop executive-level reporting packages that distill complex financial data into digestible narratives.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and visualizations using business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI) to enhance financial transparency and self-service access.
  • Support enterprise-wide initiatives, including capital planning, headcount forecasting, cost reduction initiatives, and investment analysis.
  • Collaborate with Accounting during the month-end close process by providing insight into accruals, variances, and cost drivers.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects, financial systems improvements, and reporting automation efforts.
  • Prepare and review of financial statements for external reporting requirements
  • The ability to learn the systems and be proficient to develop reports and analytical tools.

What We Need From You

  • Bachelor's Degree Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field Req or
  • Master's Degree Pref
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience. Required and
  • Hands-on experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) Required
  • Experience working in a matrixed or multi-entity organization. Preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Workday) and planning platforms (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan), any previous experience of D365 and /or OneStream is a plus.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships at all levels of an organization.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Demonstrates initiative and intellectual curiosity with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Collaborative team player who builds strong relationships across departments.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Preferred
  • Certified Financial Analyst Preferred

Physical and Environmental Requirements The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of the job, the associate is required on a daily basis to analyze and interpret data, communicate, and remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the work day and frequently access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The associate is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The associate must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.

Travel Requirements
20% Minimal travel is required for this position (up to 20% of the time and on a domestic basis).
