Residential Construction Accountant

A local construction contractor is currently looking for an Accountant to join their driven and dedicated team!

This position Accounting position plays a role in the following: accounts payable, accounts receivable, end of month processes, treasury, loan processes, posibility of managing 4-6 employees, and a possibility of helping with payroll. This is a great opportunity for someone to grow with in a company and take on more responsibilities.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of accounting
• Construction accounting knowledge required
• Sage or Quickbook experience preferred
• Ability to work well with others
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities and see projects through completion
• Positive attitude
