A Financial Analyst in the accounting industry conducts financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking. But, additional certifications like Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) can boost career prospects. Prior to becoming a Financial Analyst, a person may have roles such as an Accountant, Financial Auditor, or Financial Associate.
